We have designed our country cottages to look like old hunting cottages that have been around for a while. Old worldly, rustic and cosy. Each cottage is double story with a bedroom, bathroom, lounge, coffee station and most have wooden decks and fireplaces. Please enquire about facilities so we can advise which cottages have decks and fireplaces.

Sundowners & Platters

The old vintage 1927 Chevy truck at La Provence D’ Afrique is the quaint little pop-up bar. Enjoy a stay at our Country Cottages
Here, you can indulge in delightful sundowners, cocktails, sherry, port, Irish coffee, or even a hot chocolate if you prefer. Moreover, the charming ambiance adds to the experience, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind.
Cracking cheese platters with preserves are available on order.

Hearty Breakfast

For breakfast, you can enjoy a brunch picnic basket, packed with home cooked food that you can savour on the banks of the Berg River or in the beautiful forest with your friends and family.

Home-Cooked Dinner Baskets

Dinner is served in the Street Café at La Provence (same premises), where you can sit down by our quaint French tables and chairs and enjoy a wonderful meal in front of large fireplaces.

Couples Massages

For those who enjoy a massage, take a walk down to the Forest ZEN Spa, where our team of highly trained professionals remove all the tension from your body with the hot stone therapy massages we have on offer. The Spa has a wooden deck and a splash pool where you can cool down during hot days and look onto the Berg river. Thatched Country Cottages

Guided Forest Walks

We also offer guided walks in the forest so you can take in and admire the beautiful surroundings together while an expert takes you through to see the amazing sights. Walking sticks are provided. Start your walk at 3pm right from the property and have fun! Country Cottages
